Work Permits
Here is the procedure for a student to obtain a work permit.
- Student downloads the Sweetwater Union High School District Work Permit Application.
- The application has a water mark that says "THIS IS NOT A WORK PERMIT", but this is not a problem.
This is an application to get the actual work permit.

- There are four sections to complete:
- Student section
- Employer section (must be completed by the employer)
- Parent section
- School office section (must be completed by school)
- Student then brings completed application along with the documents stated below to Bonita Vista High School:

Hours: M-F 7:00AM - 3:30PM - Ask for the BVHS admin person responsible for handling Work Permits (Jackie Hernandez).
- Student needs to bring ID and a letter from the school on school letterhead stating that the student is currently enrolled at CCA. If applying in the summer, the letter from the school should state that the student will be attending in the Fall of the upcoming school year.
