EVERY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT should become familiar with the various scholarships listed on these pages. Applications may be submitted prior to the senior year. Please be aware, you will often need a counselor’s signature, transcript from the registrar, and/or letters of recommendation; please give at least one week's notice when requesting these items.

If you are a senior, you should be researching scholarship programs at the Colleges and Universities to which you are applying right now.  Many have numerous scholarships you can apply for; they are available on their websites.

The best source of scholarship information, aside from the opportunities through the Federal Government (FAFSA), continues to be financial aid from colleges themselves as well as the local community (Elks Club, Rotary, Kiwanis, etc.) and churches.

Parents contact your Human Resources office at your place of employment and inquire about possible scholarships for children of employees! Scholarships often require a lot of information from you.
