CCA Swimmer Tyler Fuller Swims in So Cal CIF Finals

Tyler FullerCCA Senior, Tyler Fuller, began swimming with the Chula Vista Aquatics Association, a USA competitive swim team, at the age of 6. In 2001 CVAA, and other small swim teams from National City, Eastlake, and Southwestern College combined to become the South Bay Aquatics Swim Team. Tyler is still swimming for SBA. During the 12 years of USA swimming, he has qualified for San Diego/Imperial County All Star Teams, Far Westerns, Zones, Junior Olympics, Senior Classics and Sectionals. He has competed all over California and in Hawaii.

Last year was Tyler's first complete season of high school swimming representing Calvary Christian Academy. He finished the season qualifying for CIF finals in fifth place of Division II. In this year's Division II league meets, Tyler placed first seven times in the 100 meter backstroke and he had seven first place wins in the 100 meter butterfly as well. Tyler finished off the season qualifying to race in the Division II San Diego CIF 100 meter backstroke finals. Out of the 25-30 schools represented, Tyler finished in sixth place. Go Royal Knights!

Next year Tyler will be swimming for California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California. We are proud of you Tyler!
