Dates meeting this school year are: August 10th, November 9th, February 8th, and May 10th.

THE WORD

OLD BUSINESS

• Second Kindergarten class is working out awesome.
• Highest enrollment in the history of the school.

CURRENT BUSINESS

• Willing Heart Campaign--how are we willing to participate? Time-Talent-Treasure

NEW BUSINESS

• Homecoming on Thursday 11/17. Neighborhood invited.
• Tuition increase? Options of paying book or science fees etc.
• PTF needs seed money
• Spanish CDs for parents

Chapin gave each board member a copy of “A Classic Excellence”

THE WORD

• Phil. 2:1-4 — “Be of one accord…let nothing be done through selfishness or conceit but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.”
• Judges 12:1-6 — If someone cannot “Sh-h-h” they are not of the same Spirit. Application: If someone comes to you with an issue, have them stop; pray; and wait. Then at the appropriate (Spirit-led) time, direct them to the person they need to go to deal with their issue.

OLD BUSINESS

• The office has moved twice this summer—God has provided great peace.
• Goals for Edline, grades, web site, PDA’s is to do even better this year.

CURRENT BUSINESS

• We have 384 students currently enrolled--- pray for our maximum of 400
• We have had many classroom changes with opportunities to minister and serve our teachers

NEW BUSINESS

• Many new changes this year: AP Classes, Spanish Curriculum, all classes teaching Saxon Math, 2 year old class, 2nd Kindergarten class 8th through 10th grades are maxed out! Our Athletic Program is in 2 leagues (5th-8th grades and 9th-12th grades) with new coaches.
• Safari’s are coming for our Family BBQ on the first day of school

PRAYER REQUESTS

• Need Junior and Senior High Administrators
• Parent Teacher Organization

ACTION ITEMS

• Financial Aide for Preschool (for single moms and siblings of current students?)
• PTO core helpers—likeminded, godly parents
