Principal
Dan and his wife Debby recently followed God’s
leading to move from Denver, Colorado to Chula Vista.
He is originally from Long Island, NY but moved to
Denver to attend Denver Seminary after feeling God’s
calling to work full-time with adolescents. There
he received a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling
as well as his therapist’s license. He has
spent his career working as a church intern, therapist,
and behavior specialist with youth from various ability,
cultural, and socioeconomic groups. Dan graduated
from the University of Phoenix with a Master’s
degree in Education in 2004 and obtained his teaching
license from the state of Colorado. He is excited
to see how God is going to continue to work in his
life and the lives of his students as they learn
together here at CCA. It is his hope that God would
use his life to help children of all ages know Jesus
and the grace and freedom that comes from a real,
ongoing, personal relationship with Him. |

Lita Goodman grew up in San Diego, and graduated from the Bishops' Schools in La Jolla, CA. She received her B.A. in Quantitative Economics and Philosophy from Claremont McKenna College, and completed additional coursework in Economics at Yale University. She worked as a CPA at an international accounting firm, and then recieved her J.D. from U.C. Davis. Lita practiced law for 13 years, was a law professor for a brief period, and has worked in Christian Education since 2000.
Lita became an atheist at age 12, and remained a committed humanist atheist for most of her life. After attending a lecture on the Dead Sea Scrolls and hearing a discussion on Isaiah 53, Lita began to research whether there could be any truth to Christianity. After a year of studying scripture, apologetics and other religions, Lita gave her heart and her life to the Lord Jesus in 1996. She hopes to further His kingdom by helping students know and live for Him, and by helping students excel in academics. To Him be the glory, honor and praise forever and ever! |

History
Paul began teaching at CCA in 2004. He holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science from UC Davis and a Masters degree in Christian Apologetics from Biola University. Paul enjoys teaching the students history and government, but his deep passion is teaching and defending the truth of Christianity. His love of philosophy and history is what drove him to seek answers to the big questions in life. This eventually inspired him to trust and follow Jesus. Paul enjoys engaging students in conversations about what they believe and why they believe it. He says the most exciting thing about his job is that he gets to inspire students to think and come to a greater knowledge and understanding of Jesus Christ. Born and raised in Northern California, Paul now lives with his wife Ann in San Diego.

History
Spanish
Rebekah (also Bekah) was raised in a family of six in Southern California. When she was eight years old, she decided to follow Christ and be baptized. Since that day, she has learned much of what it means to be a sojourner on the journey to her true home. She has a passion for other cultures and people groups and has had the opportunity to study and do missions work in different places around the world. Rebekah attended Westmont College and received a BA in History and Spanish. After graduation, she received her teaching credential in Social Science with the hope of influencing young people for Christ. Her first two years of teaching were spent at a bilingual Christian school in Guadalajara, Mexico. While she was there she met her husband Eric who is also a new hire at CCA. Bekah is thrilled to be starting at CCA and is looking forward to being a part of the work God is doing there.
In her free time, Bekah enjoys baking, spending long afternoons on the beach, and reading good books. |

Bible
Missions
When Chris was 16 years old, he knew that he was called to be a pastor, but a lot had happened in his life between 16 and 22, and by this point he thought he had missed out or lost his calling in the body of Christ. There came a breaking point in his walk and life around May 2001: he was broken and God came in with His overwhelming grace and picked him up, brushed him off, and renewed him in His strength. As Chris set his heart to seek Him through worship, prayer, and the studying of His Word, he sensed His Holy Spirit come upon him and empowering him. God opened a door, and Chris began working with the High School Ministry as a counselor shortly after that. Chris began working for the church in January 2002 as a computer technician and taking on more responsibility with the youth ministry, and later that year in August he became the High School Pastor, as Pastor Bill Osborn was preparing to leave as a missionary to Budapest, Hungary.
In October 2006 God began a new transition in his life as he turned over the high school ministry and began teaching the Bible and Missions classes at Calvary Christian Academy High School, which he continues to do while preparing for the mission field in Hungary.
"Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the LORD. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you." - Exodus 34:10
