Headmaster
Chapin has the honor of serving currently as the Headmaster and Associate Pastor
of Calvary Christian Academy. CCA has grown into our new facility, added
amazing faculty and staff, enhanced our curriculum offerings with advanced
and honors classes, implemented uniforms and much more. God is honoring HIS
work as our enrollment this year has grown well over a healthy 30%.
He became a Christian after years of trying to make
sense of two questions he had. First, what is the meaning
of life? Second, how does the meaning of life affect
someone? In other words how did he get here and what
was he supposed to do with his life now that found himself
here? A ministry called LAbri met Chapin where he was
with answers to lifes questions. Guess what? The answers
led him to Jesus! He met his wife Christine on a
short term missions trip to the island of Grenada. They
have three very bright and lovely children. Cade
8, Cana 5, and Cally 2.
Chapin has earned degrees from the University of Southern
California (BA), Pepperdine University (MA), and Pensacola
Christian College (Ed.D). He and his wonderful wife hope
someday to study for their Masters in Divinity together.
Chapin likes to rollerblade, surf, read and dream big
things with God by the seashore. He is thankful for all
God has done and is doing in his life. Chapins lifes
verse seem to be Isaiah 58:12 and Isaiah 62:10. |

Academic Counselor
Pamela's spiritual rearing was birthed from a mixture
of various persuasions, shaped by her father's convictions
and teachings, along with her mother's soft and sometimes,
non-apparent conventional beliefs in the one true God. Her
first independent pursuit was in the Navy barracks, North
Island, where her Southern Baptist roommate, affectionately
and amusingly laughed at her, saying her questions reminded
her of Nicodemus. The dialog led Pamela to kneel alongside
her, by the bunk and repeat "The Sinner's Prayer".
Her continued response to the call finally stole her heart
away, as she walked with tears, down the aisle at an alter
call, responding on the last stanza. It was August 12,
1979. Pam was baptized October 14, 1979 and later re-baptized.
By her side has been her husband of 26 years, Keith Goosby.
They have two wonderful, God fearing children, Keith, 23
and Benita, 19. She has worked in Christian schools since
1991. Her earliest established favorite verse was Philippians
1:6, trusting in His completion and I John 3:3. Now, she
can rejoice over His rejoicing, as told to the Hebrews
in Zephaniah 3:17 as “He sings to me in joyful song.” |

Accounting Representative
Cristine completed a Bachelor of Science in Commerce - Major in Accounting in
1988, Philippines. After graduating from college, she became a Christian through
a job interview with Campus Crusade for Christ-Central Asia Pacific Office. She
joined their accounting team for two years then transferred to the International
School of Theology-Asia (a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ) doing the same
profession for four and a half years. She then married her husband James who
serves in the Navy, then migrated to the United States of America 11 years ago.
Before Cristine left the Philippines, she prayed the Lord would allow her
to continue serving Him. Three months later, while trying to settle into a
new culture and environment and with her husband on a deployment, she asked
the Lord “what is Your next plan for me?” He gave her a verse in Philippians 2:13 "....it is God who works in you to will and
to act according to his good purpose."
Two weeks later, she became a member of the accounting team at Horizon Christian
Fellowship for nine and a half years. The commute prompted her to move closer
to home and she joined Calvary Christian Academy in October 25, 2004.
The Lord has blessed her and her husband with two beautiful children, Justin
and Nathan who are both currently attending CCA. |
