MICHELLE MARTINEZ

I’m so excited to continue serving at Calvary Christian Academy, where I have been part of the school family since 2015. With more than 10 years of experience working with young children as an assistant teacher, I’m grateful for the opportunity to now serve as a lead teacher. I love creating a warm, safe, and nurturing classroom where children can learn, grow, and feel loved.

A fun little fact about me is that I love spending time with my family and making special memories with them. I especially enjoy watching my son learn and grow, which has given me an even greater appreciation for the joy and wonder children bring into our lives.

My faith is a very important part of who I am. Throughout my life, God has continued to guide me, strengthen me, and remind me of His faithfulness. My relationship with Jesus has taught me to trust His plan and to find purpose in serving others. I’m thankful that I get to share His love with my students each day and help create a classroom where children can experience kindness, grace, and joy.

PK-2 Curriculum

Through activities integrated into the Abeka curriculum and their daily play and routines, children acquire fundamental concepts such as numbers, colors, shapes, and more. These experiences are enjoyable and contribute to the development of the children's cognitive skills and overall growth. Furthermore, participation in literacy activities provides the cornerstone for their future academic success, fostering a solid foundation for language and comprehension. In addition, their involvement in art activities allows them to refine their fine motor skills and unleash their creativity, facilitating holistic development.
